Utility billing data, sub-metered data and trend data from building automation systems are some sources of data that can be analyzed using innovative methods to identify energy saving opportunities. This seminar introduces state-of-the-art capabilities of software tools and services currently available to ASHRAE members for technology adoption. Three industry experts share their experiences and strategies for data collection, storage, processing, visualization, ownership and security. Potential energy savings realized and equipment diagnostic capabilities of big data analytics are presented.
