This seminar covers updates from ongoing room load calculation research and applications of recent room load calculation research. Ongoing research on internal heat and moisture gains in commercial dishrooms is presented, along with strategies for handling those gains. Lessons learned from recent research into radiant cooling and its applications for room load calculations are also presented. The fundamentals of radiant cooling and room load interactions are discussed, as are practical strategies to adjust the distribution of room loads. This seminar should be useful to engineers with an interest in the design of commercial dishroomsor the design of radiant systems.
