This seminar will go over ways to help mechanical systems in buildings survive disasters such as shaking from earthquakes, severe wind, and TC 2.7’s newest addition, equipment that is protectable in flood zone areas of the world. There are ways that this can be done. some will include the use of the ASHRAE Manual, “Practical Guide to Seismic Restraint”, which includes chapters on the restraint of equipment for wind loads.
